These terms are an agreement between you and Tiramai HR Consulting Services LLP ("we", "us"), which runs Bombat Kannada ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

The service

Bombat Kannada teaches spoken Kannada through short lessons with audio, practice and tests. Some lessons are free; others may require a paid plan. We keep improving the app, so lessons and features may change.

Your account

Give accurate details, and keep your PIN and sign-in codes to yourself.
One account is for one person.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once at support@bombatkannada.com if you think someone else has used it.

Paid plans

Prices, what each plan includes, and its duration are shown before you pay. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card or UPI details.
Bombat Kannada currently offers one plan: a single payment, inclusive of all taxes, that unlocks every lesson for a fixed period from the date of payment, shown in the app and on our Pricing page before you pay, with no automatic renewal; current prices are on our Pricing page, and the price shown in the app before you pay is the one that applies, including any offer.
Access to paid content starts once payment is confirmed.
Offers, discounts and coupon codes apply only as described with them, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn.
Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell or redistribute the lessons, audio or pictures; do not try to break, overload or get around the app's security or paywall; and do not misuse Help & support or feedback. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content

The lessons, audio recordings, illustrations, cards, text and design are owned by us or our licensors and are for your personal, non-commercial learning only. "Bombat Kannada" and the BK logo are trademarks of Tiramai HR Consulting Services LLP. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use them.

Some Bombat Cards illustrations are made with AI image tools, and the facts on cards are researched with AI help and checked by us. If you spot a mistake, please tell us. Photographs of real people come from public-domain or freely licensed sources, are credited, and do not mean that they or their families endorse Bombat Kannada. The voices in the app are produced by text-to-speech and checked by us by ear.

Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to make the lessons accurate, but the app is provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that you will reach a particular level of Kannada. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
